My name is Daniel J. Cody.
I am a Christian man, who simply seeks, by the grace of a powerful God, to consistently live a life full of godliness, integrity, honesty, personal responsibility, and servant leadership, while encouraging and influencing others to do the same.
I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan and graduated from John J. Pershing High School in Detroit. After high school, I attended Macomb Community College in Warren Michigan, earning an Associates Degree in Industrial Technology. Later on, I continued my education at Tennessee State University, receiving a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership.
I have been married to my lovely wife, Yvonne, for 31 years and we have 4 great kids: Amethyst, Timothy, Titus, and Makayla. We currently reside in Tennessee.
I enjoy writing, reading, traveling, playing basketball (when my body lets me), spending time with my family and friends, and teaching what I have learned, and am still learning about God and His incredible Word given to us called the Bible. I am the author of a Christian book titled: “A Matter of Resistance – Overcoming Sin as God Intended”, which was published through AuthorHouse in 2007.
My purpose for this blog is to provide a Christ centered context where “Truth” takes priority over rhetoric, tradition, and emotion, and to help others understand God’s amazing power demonstrated when the Christ follower lives out a biblically honorable and practical faith.
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
Galatians 2:20 NASB
